Since her condition was serious, she was rushed to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur and admitted in the Medical ICU.
Cause of the Health Emergency
Sources said the health scare was caused by an allergic reaction to a medicine administered during a medical test at a private laboratory. Reports said she went to OK Diagnostic Center for a CT scan and MRI. Doctors injected a contrast dye — a routine procedure to enhance clarity in imaging — but she reportedly had an adverse reaction, causing a sudden deterioration in health.
Symptoms and Medical Response
Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, principal, SMS Medical College, said, “The child suffered a severe allergic reaction and her blood pressure was dropping rapidly. At the diagnostic centre, we could sense the urgency and immediately referred her to SMS Hospital. ”
Doctors at SMS Hospital immediately stabilised her condition and shifted her to medical ICU. She is being continuously monitored by the team of specialists, Dr Maheshwari told mediapersons. “The patient’s health is improving and she is under constant medical supervision to avoid any further complications, ” he said.
