Jaipur – This event was organized by the Sapta Shakti Command on Monday. In that program, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari honored the Neer Nari and Veerangana by paying tribute to the sacrifices and commitment shown by those brave women associated with valiant soldiers who sacrificed everything for the defense of the country. She said, “I am proud to say that I, too, am the daughter of a soldier.”
Out of the total 67 Veer Naris (war widows) receiving the benefit, the districts represented were Jaipur, Dausa, and Alwar. The DCM added: “The families of martyrs embody their valor, valor, and sacrifice, and live their entire lives in atonement. The society will remain ever indebted to Veer Naris and Veeranganas, whether during the freedom struggle or as mothers and sisters sending rakhis to the war front, always fulfilling their duty towards the country.”
Contribution of Soldiers in Preserving India’s Unity and Integrity
She further said: “The army of our country is our pride, and we are proud of their valor. We feel that the army has been getting stronger and more self-reliant under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi himself celebrates Diwali with the soldiers stationed at the border. The soldiers maintain unity and integrity in India, and every citizen has unquestionable faith in their bravery.”
“She said, “Respect for women is an integral part of Indian culture. It is a matter of joy that under her leadership, President of AWWA, Manjinder Singh, many programs are organized for the welfare of soldiers’ families regarding education and development for their children as well as honoring and empowering Veer Naris and Veeranganas, which is indeed commendable.”
Further, she called lauding those initiatives that provide education to differently-abled children, cement their claim to Mokshdham (i.e., for cremation grounds) requires martyrdom, provision of canteen stores run at affordable prices, engagement with employment problems faced by Veeranganas, and initiation of the project of old-age homes.
