REET 2025 Result: The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Examination (REET) 2025 was conducted on February 27 and 28 a month ago, and the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (BSER) is being tested for over 13.72 lakh young aspiring teachers whose results will be a turning point in their teaching escapades as it is March 26, 2025. Provisional answer key finally dropped on March 25, begging for objections until March 31, but the slow reaction from BSER has angered students throughout the state. It is not just about the wait for results but also a dog-hold awaiting the Third Grade Teacher recruitment notification which is dependent on this result.
Add to that the government has bracked on 1.25 lakh recruitments in this year’s budget while no clear time frame is showing for posts under the teacher category. The said promise still feels broken, especially after the strong promises of Education Minister on bringing zeal in teacher recruitment in the state.
REET 2025 Result: Syllabus Confusion and Recruitment Delays Add to Woes
The uncertainty surrounding everything related to REET results continues. The syllabus for Third Grade Teacher recruitment has been in limbo for months. When the present government assumed charge of the state, it alluded to changing the curriculum; however, nothing concrete has happened. The indecision has left a pool of more than 15 lakh unemployed youths in a state of uncertainty without a proper opportunity to set the ball rolling with preparation.
Meanwhile, the education department sits on the fence as regards the number of posts for the next recruitment. For REET Level 2 candidates who have to balance preparation for the Lecturer and Senior Teacher post, however, one downside is that the vacancies are said to be fewer this time round. The game of numbers is still in play, and with no winners in sight, it is an anxious moment for youth in Rajasthan without a job.
RPSC Outpaces BSER: What’s Next for REET?
While BSER seems to be moving slowly, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is on an entirely different speed. RPSC conducted its EO and RO exams for various posts on the 23rd of March, and within no time, the answer key was released. This is in direct contrast to BSER’s delaying for a provisional key of REET by more than a month. The wait for REET results may even stretch till mid-April, while result declaration may take around one to one and a half months.
Subsequently, another teacher recruitment test is in the offing, which may be conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, with hopes pinned on 25,000 vacancies. Until then, the unhurriedness of BSER remains a bitter pill in the mouths of the youth of Rajasthan, who deserve clarity—and jobs—before later.
