Jaipur, January 3, 2025 – It became rampant when an SUV, said to be driven by the minor son of a police officer, crashed into a crowd of people attending a Kirtan in Jaipur. This happened early morning and left two attendees injured and further provoked fury among the spectators.

The Kirtan is an event concerning devotional singing where all people were enjoying, when suddenly the car veers and strikes members of the procession. The witnesses referred to the way the action unfolded as that of confusion and panic since devotees quickly tried to find safety. Two individuals had been reported injured, but information on the severity of their injuries was not immediately available.
