Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken every precaution in conducting the integrity of the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination, which is to be held on February 2 under the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). A detailed review of the examination has been undertaken with the Chief Minister, and the Chief Minister has specifically stated that the state government is committed to conducting all examinations in a most transparent and vigilant manner.

Focus on Preventing Unfair Means

The occasion suited Sharma to widen the ambit of caution; he insisted further upon care during the collection and distribution of question papers for the RPSC examination. In this regard, he instructed the district administration, police, and RPSC to closely coordinate to achieve better supervision and monitoring of the examination. Preventing use of unfair means would require Sharma instructing the officials to have effective management measures put in place for maintaining the integrity of the examination.

He emphasized that the government is granting free travel just two days before and after the examination. Also, the release of the bus schedule for the candidates’ smooth commuting was issued to the Transport Department.

In his directives, the Chief Minister acknowledged that the administration is fully committed to the fair and transparent conduct of these examinations. By instituting these measures, the administration wants to create an environment conducive to meritocracy and distant from the afflictions of malpractices that have marred this region with respect to such competitive examinations.
