Jodhpur, Rajasthan – Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inspired the youth by calling upon them to realize their full potential for the progress of Rajasthan from the platform of the Employment Festival and Youth Conference organized in Jodhpur. Youth act as the cornerstone for a better and developed future for Sharma, who stated that “only together will they achieve a developed and excellent Rajasthan.”

During the event, where a throng of students, teachers, and industry leaders gathered, the Chief Minister indicated what the government has done for the youth welfare and development program. He reiterated that youth are not merely the leaders of tomorrow but will hold the key in the narrative of today’s growth of the state.

“Rajasthan’s able with abundant promise, with our youth working towards making and realizing these promises,” articulated CM Sharma. He further stated that whatever dreams and aspirations you have shall be the thrust behind our state becoming prosperous. The Chief Minister assured the youth that the government is committed to providing all the necessary assistance and resources for them to achieve their goals.

CM Sharma further states that 32,000 government jobs have been created in the past one year for the state government. The announcement was made that another 60,000 are underway, which he believes will drastically bring down unemployment and provide new avenues for the youth. The Chief Minister admitted that although the government journey is still in progress, the state’s empowerment mission for the youth remains unwavering.

Sharma stated that the generation of employment opportunities is only an aspect of youth development. The initiatives he contemplated for the improvement of education and creation of innovative business opportunities are meant to develop skills and general entrepreneurship spirit in young people. This includes the establishment of 8,020 smart classrooms in various institutions of Rajasthan. According to Sharma, the program aims to modernize the educational infrastructure for a more engaging and accessible learning environment. Therefore, the infusion of technology in the world of education is considered paramount in bridging the skill gap and grooming the present-day students to meet the demands of a contemporary market.

He expressed, “Smart classrooms will undoubtedly support the enhanced learning and interactivity relevant to the digital age in which we find ourselves. The Chief Minister has launched a class-leading initiative keeping pace with education and technology which is statement enough from the government that a trained workforce is realistically needed in the economy as it stands today.”

In this context, Sharma also announced 155 initiatives regarding funding for startups in the state. The aim of this program is to build up an entrepreneurial ecosystem that will feed into a culture of creativity and self-empowerment among the youth. The government thus aims at unleashing the potential of young minds through entrepreneurship culture for successful conversion of their thoughts into empty pockets bringing prosperity to the state through the economy.

The Employment Festival had different activities like job fairs and skill development workshops along with interactive sessions with the industry leaders, thus providing students with real-time updates about market trends and career streams. This diverse activity attests for the credibility of the state government not only in generating jobs but also in building skills and knowledge for the competitive job market in the youthful applicants.

The conference was illumined with youthful vibes, and the participants expressed their gratitude towards the evolving initiatives. The interactions showed that there is a certain commonality linking the hopes and vision of all Youth who are willing to contribute to the development of Rajasthan. A strong similar chord about the Chief Minister’s youth welfare vision in a state undergoing demographic change, with the overwhelming majority of her population being below 30. The youth will count indeed as Rajasthan walks its way toward development.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma extended his remarks by exhorting the youth to act upon opportunities and positively contribute to society. He reaffirmed the belief of the government in the capacity of the youth of Rajasthan in saying, “You are the torchbearers of our future. Together, let’s build a Rajasthan that we can all be proud of.”
