Bhilwara Police Seize 665 kg Ganja Worth Over 3 Crore

Bhilwara, Rajasthan – Bhilwara police have conducted one of the most significant drug raids within the confines of history that now pushes up the antidrug campaign. The police caught a truck transporting as much as 665 kilograms of ganja in the Bijoliya area. Approximately worth over 3 crore rupees, this seizure was made during the routine checking whereas one person was taken into custody on the count of smuggling.

The operation was conducted on a Wednesday night when the police acted on an intelligence tip-off, stopping the truck for inspection at a checkpoint outside Bijoliya. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered huge amounts of ganja cleverly hidden in specially-designed compartments. The smuggler who was caught is known to the world as Ramesh Kumar. He was subsequently picked up without delay. Kumar is believed to be part of a major network trafficking drugs across states. A truck coming from Odisha, a territory from which ganja is often sourced was seized.
