JDA Foils Bid to Set Up Illegal Colonies Near Sanganer

Jaipur Development Authority (JDA)

A successful procession was carried out by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) for the prevention of two illegal colonies, which had sprouted close to Sanganer Kapoora wala Khatian Ki Dhani. The operation was limited to an area of about 4 bighas where the developers had intended to establish such unlawful colonies.

JDA officials stormed the site after gauging intelligence inputs and halted construction activities from taking root on such areas. This underscores JDA’s commitment to planned development in the city regarding the interests of residents against illegal housing.

The crackdown is part of a broader program of the JDA to stop illegal development over their land, which would not have utilities and tend to be illegal colonies that pose significant threats to the environment and public welfare.

This is a pleasant development for the residents, who have been glad that the neighborhood is not going to be affected by unplanned settlements. The JDA has promised residents that it would continue being vigilant on and acting against illegal colonization in Jaipur.

Such news points out efforts being carried out continuously by JDA to maintain the sanctity of the urban landscape of Jaipur.
