Rajasthan students score maximum marks in JEE Main 2025 Jan session Five students from Rajasthan—Ayush Singhal, Rajit Gupta, Saksham Jindal, Arnav Singh and Om Prakash Behera—have cracked JEE Main 2025 Jan session with a perfect 100 percentile. The results of JEE Main 2025 Jan session were declared on Tuesday by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This year, 14 students across the country have secured the top percentile. This is less than the 23 students who scored a perfect 100 percentile in January 2024 session. This year, there is one girl among top scorers — S. M. Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh.

Rajasthan emerged as the top state this year with five students scoring 100 percentile, edging out Telangana which topped the charts last year. Rajasthan’s surge to the top in competitive exams can be seen in the fact that four out of five from the state hail from Kota’s elite coaching institutes. Kota’s position as an academic hub continues to be strengthened.

But educationist Dev Sharma said that the change in the exam pattern, especially the omission of the facility of option in Part B of the question paper, had a significant impact this year. “The impact of this change is visible in the scorecards of JEE Main 2025 January session, ” he said. “This change had probably made the exam more difficult. The feats of these students are all the more impressive because of it. .

Other than Rajasthan, students from other States also set the bar high. Two students each from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and one each from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka scored 100 per centile. The list of top scorers shows that talent and dedication is spread across the country.
