Alwar, January 05, 2025 – Union minister Bhupender Yadav’s hearty visit to Rajgarh of the Alwar district was purely symbolic. He has come to cheer the local sportspersons in their games at the local sports festival.
This festival was being held at Rajgarh Sports Ground, when there was a procession to welcome Yadav. The crowd of local residents and sports enthusiasts waited to witness the minister’s event. Yadav, who is well known for being a constant votary of grassroots sports, took it upon himself to ensure that the public did not miss out on direct access to the minister, as he wished them all good luck and spoke of how sports may change a nation.

Dressed in a simple yet elegant kurta, Yadav entered the throng shaking hands with winners and posing for photos with the winning team. His presence seems to have energized the local athletes, many of them later conveyed how much they appreciated ministerial support.
In his address, Yadav slammed the need for adding the last public address speeches to the fact that Government this time does more than sound under-currents of interest-building in sports development. ‘Sports are not only a part of physical fitness but they are meant to teach discipline, teamwork, and a never-give-up spirit. Hence we need to give support to our young sports people from poverty fields to international arenas’ His statement drew the immediate applause of those present.
Kabaddi, volleyball, athletics, and so forth were part of the sports festival activities demonstrating the talents of the youth of Alwar. Local sports associations collaborated to organize this event efficiently as they sought to search new talent for higher competitions.
